FITAKI rustic salad

Light vegetable salad with FITAKI

Ingredients for 4 servings

FITAKI in Oil 150 g

Cos lettuce 1 head

Tomatoes (fleshy) 2

Cucumber 1

Sweet red pepper 1

Red onion 1

Black olives 15 to 20

Wine vinegar 3 tablespoons

Dried oregano 0.5 teaspoons

Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • 1 Remove the lettuce leaves from the base. Rinse the leaves in cold water and place them on a towel.
  • 2 Rinse the tomatoes, remove the core and cut the tomatoes into thin slices.
  • 3 Carefully rinse the cucumber, cut it lengthwise into four parts and remove the seeds with a teaspoon.
  • 4 Cut the pepper in half, remove the seeds, rinse and cut it in strips.
  • 5 Peel the onion and cut into thin rings.
  • 6 Prepare the dressing: combine the vinegar, salt, pepper and oregano and continue mixing until the salt is completely dissolved. Then add the oil from the jar.
  • 7 Mix all ingredients and dress the salad with dressing.
For those who prefer spicy dishes, we recommend adding peperoncini peppers to the salad.
